What makes Absoluxe Suites different?

Can I let you into a little secret?

Absoluxe Suites is a pretty unique place to stay. Nestled in the heart of the beautiful Yorkshire Dales ancient market town of Kirkby Lonsdale sits our luxury suites, designed with ultimate comfort and privacy in mind. We often get asked where we fit in the accommodation sector; are we a hotel? Do we offer self-catering facilities? And in truth we don’t fit into either, we offer our own unique sector of luxury accommodation, something truly different to everyone else. 

Let me explain a little further:

What do you mean by suites?

At Absoluxe we offer four completely unique luxury hotel-style rooms that are large, comfortable and each with its own private bathroom. The suites are optimised to offer you the ultimate private getaway, with two of the suites also offering exclusive use of hot tubs. They each have seating for eating or relaxation.

Ok, but you’re not a hotel?

No, unlike a hotel Absoluxe Suites offers a purely private experience. The opportunity to really take a break from the world. There’s no receptionist, waiting to check in or paperwork to fill. There’s no night porter clunking around while you’re revelling in our soft Egyptian cotton sheets, and no shared dining with other guests. We wanted to remove the faff of an ordinary hotel, meaning that you can arrive at your leisure with a unique code for entry, the weekend stretching before you cocooned in luxury. With as much or little interruption as you would like.

What if I need something?

Of course, we don’t leave you completely out on a limb! I act as your personal concierge and am available via text to answer questions and hopefully provide what you need. Dinner recommendations, walking recommendations, an extra bottle of champagne or room extras (with notice). But I don’t interfere, so if you want to switch off for a while I offer that too. 

So, what do I do for dinner, can I prepare my own?

The suites provide tea and coffee-making facilities but are not self-catering suites. We want guests to escape daily life and not have to worry about buying shopping, preparing food and cleaning up. All the boring stuff. We encourage guests to experience the plethora of wonderful restaurants that are a mere five-minute walk from the suites, or to truly have a special night in with a takeaway for two. We partner with a local hotel for breakfast (should you want it), but again we want to give guests the gift of choice, allowing you to experience the wonderful local businesses that Kirkby Lonsdale offers.

What else makes you special?

At Absoluxe Suites we offer guests the full package, appealing to all your senses, and providing something above normal expectations. The technology we offer in the suites is different to most places you will stay, with controlled mood lighting, electric blinds, great sound, unique TV viewing and a few other surprises that can all be controlled with ease.
