Terms and Conditions

 

Suite Booking

We request that all bookings are to be completed on our booking system on the website on line.

All charges are inclusive of VAT and are shown and must be paid in local currency (£ sterling).
All bookings are paid for in full at the time of booking
Please note that a reservation is a legally binding contract and we urge you to take out travel insurance when you book.

The bookings shall be deemed to be the purpose of the person or people whose names appear on the booking form. In the event that the number of allowed people (2 people) has been exceeded Absoluxe has the right to revoke the booking without refund.

If for any reason it proves necessary for us to make a change in your booking we will use our endeavours to make an alternative booking in either an alternative suite or at another location. Or we will refund, in full, your monies paid by you.
Nevertheless Absoluxe shall be under no further obligation or liability in this respect.

Cancellation, Modifications and No-show

Should you have to cancel your reservation up to 14 days prior to your arrival, the full stay will be charged, minus what we are able to re-coup through re-letting.
All cancellations must be sent in writing preferably by email but if by letter please send recorded delivery.
We will confirm with you once we have received the cancellation. We do not accept cancellations by phone.

COVID related cancellations

If we are required to close Absoluxe Suites by instruction from the Government you will be offered an alternative day for your stay or a refund of the monies you paid.

Check-in & Check Out

The check in time for the suites is from 3pm; if your room should be ready before this time we will send you a text to let you know.
Check-out time is 11am; please help us to be ready for our next guests by adhering to this departure time.
The latest time for check in to the suite is 8pm. If you require a later check- in this must be arranged prior to your stay by email.

Parking

Absoluxe guests receive a complimentary parking permit on arrival, which is valid in all South Lakeland District Council car parks within the village and in selected South Lakeland District Council car parks within Cumbria.

Guests staying in the Orient Suite have a private parking space next to their suite.

On your arrival in Kirkby Lonsdale please drive to the suites and park directly outside to drop off your bags and collect your car park permit. We then recommend that you park in either Market Square LA6 2AN, New Road no 1 LA6 2AA and New Road No2 LA6 2HG.
They are all a short walk back to the suites.

Keys

The main front door has an electronic door entry system and you will gain entry by a code that will be  texted to you on the morning of your stay.
The door to your suite will be accessed by a key, which will be waiting for you on your arrival.
Please ensure you leave your key on the morning of your departure.

Breakfast

You can choose the standard package for The Oasis Suite and The  Orient suite which includes breakfast.

The Columbus and Parisian suites are shown as suite only on the booking system and then you can add breakfast from the Extra Packages section per person, per night.
We have teamed up with The Sun Inn which is a 4 – minute walk from the suites for you to have their award winning breakfast.

Suite Occupancy

Our suites have been designed for adults to take a well-earned break in luxury (18 and over) and therefore no person under the age of 18 will be allowed to stay in the Absoluxe suites.

The rooms are for a maximum of 2 people; we do not allow you to bring extra people.

Suites with Hot Tubs

We have signs placed in the hot tub area requesting that users of the hot tub should not enter the tub if they are wearing fake tan. The chemicals from this product affect the filters of the hot tub and have to be replaced. If the product is detected in the tub after your use a charge of £30 will be made to replace the filter to the card details used to book your stay.

Complimentary Toiletries

Complimentary toiletries have been provided in the suites and whilst every effort has been made to ensure they are hypoallergenic use of these items is at your own risk and no responsibility will be accepted for any adverse reaction. You are advised to test on a small patch of skin before use.

Broadband Internet Access

We offer this on a complimentary basis and is not guaranteed to always be available or at the speed you may be used to.

CCTV Cameras

Absoluxe suites have CCTV in operation outside the building and in the public areas inside i.e. hallways and stairs. These are in operation for your security and the security of the property.

Pets

The Orient Suite is our dog friendly suite. One well behaved small dog will be very welcome to accompany their humans. We will provide for their stay a towel, dog blanket, and water bowl plus some tasty treats! If you are bringing your dog, please complete the comments section on the booking form about the breed of dog. An additional charge of £25 per night will be made for your pooches stay-please select the booking line which includes dog. We allow for one dog per stay.

No Smoking, No Vaping

For the comfort of all guests no smoking or vaping is permitted in any of the suites, and the patio areas in the Oriental and Oasis suites

If we should detect smoking has taken place in the suites a charge of £500 will be made to your credit card held on file.
This is to cover the cost of having to deep clean the room and possibly relocate the guests following you.

Food

We provide each suite  with necessary items for you to enjoy a take away in your suite. Please do not eat takeaway food in bed as this causes unnecessary soiling of bedding and will attract a £25 soiling charge.

A Deli and Cheese Platter can be ordered to be in your room on arrival or any day of your stay or our luxury afternoon tea if you would rather not go out and leave your suite.

Security Deposit

Our aim is to provide you with a memorable stay with us and want you to enjoy the luxury we have provided.

In making a booking you accept responsibility for any theft, breakage or damage caused by you or the other member of your party and agree to indemnify us in full for any loss that we may incur as a result.

We will debit to your card, with which you paid for your booking, the damage deposit of £250. The suite will be inspected at the end of your stay and you may be charged for any loss or damage found

The security deposit will be returned to your card within 7 days of the end of your stay less the cost of damages/breakages, if there should be any.

Force Majeure

Absoluxe (Aquamajik Co Ltd) does not accept liability or pay any compensation for our failure to provide services contracted due to circumstances beyond our control, such as acts of God, (natural) disaster, fire, (acts of) war and terrorism, strikes, riots, civil disorder, governmental regulations, industrial disputes, adverse weather conditions or any other exceptional catastrophic event, circumstances or emergency, making it impossible, illegal or preventing guests from staying in our suites.

Acceptance of Conditions

These conditions shall be deemed to have been accepted by you at the time when you completed the booking form.
