Terms and Conditions for ABSOLUXE SUITES
1. Suite Bookings
1.1 We request that all bookings are to be completed on our booking system via our website online.
1.2 All charges shown are inclusive of VAT and must be paid in local currency (£ sterling).
1.3 All direct bookings are to be paid for in full at the time of booking.
1.4 Please note that a reservation is a legally binding contract and we urge you to take out travel insurance when you book.
1.5 The bookings shall be deemed to be for the purpose of the person or people whose names appear on the booking form. In the event that the number of allowed people (a maximum of two people) has been exceeded, Absoluxe reserves the right to revoke the booking without refund.
1.6 If for any reason it proves necessary for us to make a change to your booking, we will use our endeavours to make an alternative booking in either an alternative Suite or at another location or we will refund, in full, the monies paid by you. Nevertheless, Absoluxe shall be under no further obligation or liability in this respect.
2. Cancellation, Modifications and No-Shows
2.1 Should you have to cancel your reservation up to 14 days prior to your arrival, the full stay will be charged, minus what we are able to re-coup through re-letting.
2.2 All cancellations must be sent in writing preferably by email but if by letter please send recorded delivery.
2.3 We will confirm with you in writing once we have received the cancellation.
2.4 We do not accept cancellations by phone.
3. COVID Related Cancellations
3.1 If we are required to close Absoluxe Suites by instruction from the Government you will be offered an alternative date(s) for your stay
4. Check In and Check Out
4.1 The check in time for all Suites is from 3pm.
4.2 Check-out time is 11am; please help us to be ready for our next guests by adhering to this departure time.
4.3 The latest time for check in to the suite is 8pm. If you require a later check- in this must be arranged prior to your stay by email.
5. Parking
5.1 Absoluxe guests receive a complimentary parking permit on arrival, which is valid in all South Lakeland District Council car parks within the village and in selected South Lakeland District Council car parks within Cumbria.
5.2 Upon arrival in Kirkby Lonsdale please drive to the suites and park directly outside the front door to drop off your bags and collect your parking permit. We then recommend that you park in either Market Square – LA6 2AN, New Road No. 1 – LA6 2AA or New Road No. 2 – LA6 2HG. They are all a short walk back to the suites.
6. Keys
6.1 The main front door has an electronic door entry system and you will gain entry with a unique access code that will be texted to you on the morning of your stay.
6.2 The door to your suite will be accessed by a key, which will be waiting for you on your arrival.
6.3 Please ensure you leave your key and parking permit on the morning of your departure.
7. Breakfast
7.1 Breakfast is included with all bookings.
7.2 We have teamed up with The Royal Hotel which is a 30 second  walk from the suites for you to have a continental or hot breakfast.
8. Suite Occupancy
8.1 Our suites have been designed for adults (aged 18 and over) to take a well earned break in luxury and therefore no person under the age of 18 will be allowed to stay in the Absoluxe Suites.
8.2 The rooms are designed for a maximum of 2 people; we do not allow you to bring extra people. If we have reason to believe that more than two people are in the suite during the time of your stay, we reserve the right to withhold your security deposit upon departure.
9. Suites with Hot Tubs
9.1 We are situated in a quiet residential area and we request that all guests vacate their hot tubs by 10.30pm and keep all noise to a minimum in consideration of our other guests and neighbours.
9.2 Excessive noise caused by guests may require us to ask you to leave the premises. This includes raised voices and the use of any portable speaker equipment.
9.3 If there are any reports of excessive noise or anti-social behaviour during your stay, we reserve the right to withhold your security deposit upon departure.
9.4 We have signs in the hot tub area requesting that users of the hot tub should not enter the tub if they are wearing fake tan. The chemicals from this product affect the filters of the hot tub and have to be replaced. If the product is detected in the tub after your use a charge of £30 will be made to replace the filter to the card details used to book your stay.
9.5 As a company, we are committed to reducing our use of single use plastic and being more sustainable across the board. In line with this effort, we no longer provide single use slippers in our hot tub suites.
10. Complimentary Toiletries
10.1 Complimentary toiletries have been provided in the suites and whilst every effort has been made to ensure they are hypoallergenic use of these items is at your own risk and no responsibility will be accepted for any adverse reaction. You are advised to test on a small patch of skin before use.
11. Broadband Internet Access
11.1 We offer this on a complimentary however it cannot be guaranteed that it is always available or at the speed you may be used to.
12. CCTV Cameras
12.1 Absoluxe Suites have CCTV in operation outside the building and in the public areas inside i.e. hallways and stairs. These are in operation for your security and the security of the property.
13. Pets
13.1 Due to popular demand we have introduced The Orient Suite as our dog friendly suite. One well behaved small dog will be very welcome to accompany their humans.  At the cost of `£25.00 we will provide for their stay a towel, dog blanket, and water bowl and food bowl plus some tasty treats and poo bags! If you are bringing your dog, please complete the comments section on the booking form about the breed of dog.
13.2 Only one dog is allowed in the suite due to the size of The Orient.
14. Smoking and Vaping
14.1 For the comfort of all guests no smoking or vaping is permitted in any of the suites, and the patio areas in the Oriental and Oasis suites.
14.2 If we should detect smoking has taken place in the suites a charge of £500 will be made to your credit card held on file.
14.3 This will be used to cover the cost of having to deep clean the suite and possibly relocate the guests following you.
15. Food
15.1 Due to COVID we have changed our policy on food in the suites and provided you with the necessary items for you to enjoy a takeaway in your suite.
15.2 Please do not eat takeaway food in bed as this causes unnecessary soiling of bedding and will attract a £25 soiling charge.
16. Security Deposit
16.1 Our aim is to provide you with a memorable stay with us and want you to enjoy the luxury we have provided.
16.2 In making a booking you accept responsibility for any theft, breakage, damage, excessive noise or anti-social behaviour caused by you or the other member of your party and agree to indemnify us in full for any loss that we may incur as a result.
16.3 We will debit to your card, with which you paid for your booking, the damage deposit of £250.
16.4 The suite will be inspected at the end of your stay and you may be charged for any loss or damage found.
16.5 The security deposit will be returned to your card within 7 days of the end of your stay less the cost of damages/breakages, if there should be any.
17. Force Majeure
17.1 Absoluxe (Aquamajik Co Ltd) does not accept liability or pay any compensation for our failure to provide services contracted due to circumstances beyond our control, such as acts of God, (natural) disaster, fire, (acts of) war and terrorism, strikes, riots, civil disorder, governmental regulations, industrial disputes, adverse weather conditions or any other exceptional catastrophic event, circumstances or emergency, making it impossible, illegal or preventing guests from staying in our suites.
18. Acceptance of Conditions
18.1 These conditions shall be deemed to have been accepted by you at the time when you completed the booking form.
