Terms and Conditions – Covid 19 Specific
We would ask all guests who have been diagnosed with or currently have symptoms of the COVID 19 Virus to refrain from making any bookings.
All charges are inclusive of VAT and are shown and must be paid in local currency (£ sterling)
All bookings are paid for in full at the time of booking.
Please note that a reservation is a legally binding contract and we urge you to take out travel insurance when you book.
The bookings shall be deemed to be the purpose of the person or people whose name appears on the booking form. In the event that the number of allowed people (2 people) has been exceeded Absoluxe has the right to revoke the booking without refund.
If for any reason it proves necessary for us to make a change in your booking we will endeavour to make an alternative booking in either an alternative suite or at another location. Or we will refund, in full, your monies paid by you.
Nevertheless, Absoluxe, shall be under no further obligation or liability in this respect.
Cancellation, Modifications and No Show (normal trading)
Should you have to cancel your reservation up to 7 days prior to your arrival, the full stay will be charged, minus what we are able to re-coup through re-letting.
All cancellations must be sent in writing preferably by email but if by letter please send recorded delivery.
We will confirm with you once we have received the cancellation.
We do not accept cancellations by phone.
COVID 19 – Cancellations
During this time of uncertainty we undertake to guarantee that should the Government invoke a further lockdown at any time during 2020 we will offer all guests, who have made reservations, the option of rebooking their stay at a later date OR a full refund.
We still advise that you take out travel insurance when you make your booking.
Check-In & Check-Out
During this period of social distancing we will operate individual check in and check out times so there is a reduced opportunity of you meeting any of your fellow guests.
Each guest will be asked, by email for their preferred times and we will endeavour to fulfill your choice.
The check-in time will be no later than 3pm and the checkout no earlier than 11am.
With your continued safety in mind we will email you a video we have prepared on checking yourselves into the suites. Everything will be made as easy and safe as we can possibly make it. We will also be at the end of the phone – 07944 414565 at all times.
Absoluxe guests receive a complimentary parking permit on arrival, which is valid in all South Lakeland District Council car parks within the village.
On your arrival in Kirkby Lonsdale please drive to the suites and park directly outside to drop off your bags and collect your car park permit. We then recommend that you park in either Market square LA6 2AN, New Road No 1 LA6 2AA and New Road No2 LA6 2HG.
They are all a short walk back to the suites.
The Orient suite guests have their own private car parking space next to their suite – no pass is required.
The main front door to 3 of the suites has a door entry system and you will gain entry by a code that will be sent to you prior to your arrival.
The door to your suite is accessed by a key which will be ready for you on your arrival – see your check in video.
Please ensure you leave your key on the hook in the hallway on the morning of your departure.
A 5 * Breakfast is served at The Sun Inn, a 5 minute walk from the suites. They normally serve between 8.30am and 10am, but due to the social distancing required and numbers who can eat at one time these times may change and we will ensure you are informed of anything different before you arrive for your stay.
We will also be offering a continental hamper delivered to your suite as an alternative during these times of social distancing. Please ensure you add this to the comments of your booking or email us to let us know email@example.com
Our suites have been designed for adults to take a luxury break (18 and over) and therefore no person under the age of 18 will be allowed to stay in the suites.
The suites are for a maximum of 2 people; we do not allow extra people to occupy the suite.
Complimentary toiletries have been provided in the suites and whilst every effort has been made to ensure they are hypoallergenic use of these items is at your own risk and no responsibility will be accepted for any adverse reaction.
You are advised to test on a small patch of skin before use.
Broadband Internet Access
We offer this on a complimentary basis and it is not guaranteed to always be available or at the speed you maybe used to.
Absoluxe suites have CCTV in operation outside the buildings and in the public areas inside i.e. hallways and stairs.
These are in operation for your security and the security of the property.
Absoluxe has made one of the suites available for guests to bring one small, well-behaved dog. The suite designated is The Orient Suite.
We will provide a rug, food bowl and towel for use during your dog’s stay.
There is a £25 charge for your dog shown as a separate booking line under Packages.
No Smoking & No Vaping
For the comfort of all guests no smoking or vaping is permitted in the suites, building or patio area.
If we should detect smoking has taken place your suite a charge of £500 will be made to your debit/credit card with which you made the booking .
This is to cover the cost of having to deep clean the suite and possibly relocating the guests to follow you.
The suites under normal circumstances are designed so you can experience and enjoy the many varieties of eating venues in and around the Kirkby Lonsdale area.
During these exceptional circumstances we would like to offer you the option of Dining In. In your suite you will find a box with all you will need to have a Dine-In experience. We will provide a list of all the venues offering takeaways so that you can pre order and bring back to your suite if it is not possible to eat in a restaurant.
We also offer a Deli and Cheese platter on our list of packages that can be ordered.
Our aim is to provide you with a memorable stay with us and want you to enjoy the luxury we have provided.
We kindly ask all guests to respect the accommodation you are staying in along with the furnishings and technology.
If on departure from your suite we find any damage or items missing from the suites as a result of your stay we will inform you of the cost we will be charging to your debit/credit card with which you placed your booking.
We request a £250 pre – authorisation on your arrival. On checking the suite post your stay we then refund the amount to your card after checking the suite.
Absoluxe (Aquamajik Co Ltd) does not accept liability or pay any compensation for our failure to provide services contracted due to circumstances beyond our control, such as acts of god, (natural) disaster, fire (acts of) war and terrorism, strikes, riots, civil disorder, Governmental regulations, industrial disputes, adverse weather conditions or any other exceptional catastrophic event, circumstances or emergency, making it impossible, illegal or preventing guests from staying in our suites.
