Brooke is the face, voice and heart behind Absoluxe. She is the voice you will hear on the phone, on the end of an email or text message. She embodies everything that makes Absoluxe such a special place to stay!
Get to know a little bit more about your host.
Q. What do you think makes Kirkby Lonsdale the perfect destination for a weekend away?
A. Absoluxe and Kirkby Lonsdale are situated between two beautiful national parks. In just 15 minutes, you can find yourself in the heart of the Lakes, while the opposite direction takes you to the Yorkshire Dales. Picture yourself walking along the shores of Lake Windermere for a stunning sunrise, or hiking Ingleborough as the sun begins to set among the rolling hills.
Personally, I’m particularly drawn to the landscape and rich history of Kirkby Lonsdale itself and if you’re like me then there’s lots to explore. The food in Kirkby Lonsdale is superb and offers lots of variety from a quick bar meal to a romantic sit down meal.
Q. If you were spending the night at Absoluxe, which suite would you choose and why?
A. I’ve sampled each of them, and they are all amazing; however, if I had to choose, I would go with The Oasis. I find this suite provides the most impressive experience for me. It is larger, and each room within the suite offers something spectacular, from the lounge area all the way through to the hot tub area.
Q. Any favourite local restaurants or cafes?
A. I absolutely love The Orange Tree for a bar meal and love Number Nine for a more formal meal. However, the Ice Cream Parlour is my go-to after a busy Sunday at the suites.
Q. What advice do you have for guests who are seeking a luxury experience or how can they make the most of their stay?
A. Arrive bang on 3pm because a lot of guests state that 1 night just isn’t enough and they wish they booked more. After my stay in the oasis I really didn’t want to leave, I slept so well. I’d also recommend looking at our extra packages as they are just the finishing touch to your stay.
Q. What do you feel makes Absoluxe stand out from other luxury hotels in the area.
A. I think what makes us stand out is the way we make our guests feel right at home with a private and relaxed experience, starting from our hassle-free self-check-in process. We want our guests to have control over their stay, so they can customize it exactly the way they like. Whether it’s adjusting the heating, setting the perfect mood with lighting, or managing the blinds, it’s all at their fingertips. And let’s not forget our gorgeous bathrooms that add that extra touch of luxury.
But what really makes us special is our one-of-a-kind approach—each suite comes with its own unique theme, giving our guests a truly individual experience. We’re all about making your stay not just comfortable, but also a little extra special!
Q. Final question, if you could travel anywhere in the world where would it be and why?
A. Canada -The Rocky Mountains, I absolutely love the landscape and the ranch lifestyle they live.
